Update [Monday, April 6th, 2020]:

First and foremost, THANK YOU to our patrons for your outstanding patience. We understand that during this difficult time that the yard is a safe place to pass the time, and that some of our commercial clients need to continue operating as normal. This is why we are doing our best to remain open to serve you. We are currently operating with a significantly decreased workforce, so naturally, things are moving a little bit slower than normal. Your patience, understanding, and continued patronage is greatly appreciated.

We kindly ask that any patrons visiting our store continue to respect the guidelines listed below, for the safety of our staff and other guests. Your compliance is appreciated. Stay safe everyone!

Original [Monday, March 30th, 2020]:

It is with sadness that we announce our annual 1-Day Sale events are to be postponed until further notice. We will advise regarding updated event dates as the situation evolves.

We understand that during this difficult time, many of our customers are self-isolating, and as the weather starts to turn, the yard remains a safe place for our families to work and play. It is our intent to continue offering our services, but the health and safety of our staff and guests is our top priority.

In order to prioritize, we have allowed all staff members to opt to take time off and self-isolate during this time. These staff members will resume their employment here at Savoy Equipment when it is safe to do so. We have also implemented precautionary measures in our stores to ensure everyone’s safety and reduce the spread of germs, including mandated handwashing, cleaning, and sanitizing on a pre-determined incremental schedule.

As a result of our decreased workforce, we have reduced our operating hours::

Monday – Friday: 8:30am to 5pm
Saturday: 9:00am to 4:00pm

Sunday: CLOSED

Monday – Friday: 8:30am to 5pm
Saturday: 9:00am to 4:00pm

Sunday: CLOSED

We also ask that all customers visiting the stores observe the following guidelines, as recommended by the World Health Organization.

  1. If you are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms or have travelled in the past 14 days, please refrain from entering the store.
  2. Please avoid bringing additional people into the store with you, including family members, children, or additional staff and crew members.
  3. While in the store, please maintain a distance of 2 meters from staff members and other patrons at all times. We have put lines on the floor with tape to help you navigate appropriate distancing.
  4. While in the store, please refrain from touching anything.
  5. Our bathroom facilities are always available for handwashing, and we encourage customers to utilize it.
  6. If it appears that there are more than 6 customers currently in the store, please wait outside for someone to leave, so there is enough space for everyone to keep their distance.
  7. We ask that, if at all possible, that patrons pay using credit or debit cards instead of cash.

We are working to expand our service options in a way that keeps our staff and guests safe. Please rest assured that we are doing everything that we can to continue to offer our services during this time of uncertainty. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we navigate these uncharted waters. We are all in this together.

Kind Regards,

The Savoy Team
